Along the highway to Tibet you reach a place called Barabise Bazaar. From here you will leave the road and civilization behind as you head into the tranquility of the mountains. This peak is situated in the hidden paradise of the Rolwaling Valley and is reached by a spectacular trek through alpine forests and over high passes, conditioning you for the climb.
After 5 hours driving from Kathmandu to the Barabise Bazaar on the highway to Tibet you will leave the civilization behind and head towards the tranquility of the mountains in the hidden land of Rolwaling Valley. The trek passes through spectacular high alpine valley, beautiful alpine forest of pines and rhododendron with picturesque alpine passes including traditional and unspoiled rural villages. To reach the summit, its quite a simple affair which requires basic snow trekking skills. It route is not steep, but it is quite long and tiring.
